Thanks Nigel,
I saw Deadly Sweet recently. Not a great film but a real time capsule. Great shots of London. It would make a interesting double bill with Blow up.
looking forward to reading your review
cheers
Eddy

Now I liked deadly sweet particularly for the time capsule thing- the red buses and the greyhound racing, it felt like it was made by a british director- in that when international directors use a city they tend to focus on recognisable landmarks- the french sex murders starts with the eifel tower or pyjama girl case shows sydney opera house- this was more a london as seen by the english social realist filmmakers. for me it made it a particularly intimate look at london- blow up i have here but still havent finished it, i started watching with hangover last time and I think i didnt get into it- but that may have been down to my mood.
