Miguel Covarrubias
This week i came across a book featuring paintings of Bali and it's people by the Mexican artist Miguel Covarrubias (22 November 1904 — 4 February 1957).
I have not heard of this artist before. He was a prolific painter, illustrator and writer.

Tina Ti (1945-2010)

I found out about Hong Kong actress and 1960s & 1970s sex bomb Tina Ti Na via Softfilm. She sadly passed away this month from cancer. From all accounts Tina lead an extraordinarily and colourful life.

Her movies include 'A Big Mess,' 'One Day at a Time' and 'Dark Rendezvous,' She caused a sensation in Hong Kong by appearing nude in the 1972 Li Han-hsiang movie, 'The Warlord.'
